- Approve: Minutes of FY19 September Meeting
- Chris: Artistic Report
- Home performances of Alone Together are in full swing.
- Reported recent touring residencies were successful and fulfilling.
- Board discussion re: additional fees for education outreach, opportunities for expansion of those offerings.
- Provided status of programming for the 2019–2020 season.
- Reported Larsen premiere at Penn State and subsequent performances have been well-received; LL is happy with the final result.
- Described live recording project of Alone Together.
- Presale at home concerts; album will also be sold on tour.
- Reported eOne album has been acquired and is currently being shopped.
- The album is comprised of new music Cantus has premiered and performed within the past 4 years.
- Joe: Executive Director Report
- Cashflow is in a good place for the next 6 months.
- Rob has secured an additional touring performance in Virginia.
- Reported MSAB access and touring grants will be decided next month.
- Invited board to see/hear Cantus on the road at upcoming Wisconsin tour.
- Nancy: Treasurer’s report
- Reported audited financial statements will be distributed at next board meeting.
- Distributed status report of current/upcoming institutional grant applications.
- Accept: September financials.
- Brock/Jon/Joey: Engagement Committee Update
- Thanked board members who have made pledges to the Annual Fund.
- Reported individual giving is tracking ahead of last year.
- Direct mail and Thankathon will hopefully result in an influx of gifts.
- Give to the Max Day on Nov 15.
- Ticket sales are tracking similar to last year.
- Great review of Alone Together in Pioneer Press.
- Subscriptions are tracking ahead of this time last year.
- Described promotion offering subscribers a free pair of tickets to bring new people to Cantus concerts.
- Pete: Governance Committee Update
- Gave overview of the outcomes of most recent meeting.
- Will need to add 4–7 board members by the end of FY19.
- Intends to add non-board members to governance committee.
- Will be reassessing priorities and strategies of recruitment.
- Gave overview of the outcomes of most recent meeting.

- Described evolving plans for the anniversary season.
