Motion: Pete Cochrane; 2nd Wendy Holmes; approved.
  1. Paul/Chris: Artistic Report
    1. Reported highly successful Christmas program, great feedback from patrons.
    2. Described recent touring schedule.
    3. Reported Feb 24 Audition Day was strongest candidate pool in history.
      1. Potentially moving forward with an offer to one candidate.
  2. Joe: Executive Director Report
    1. Joe/Paul/Chris: Update on collaborative concert
      1. Reported Ordway is ideal venue pending rental rate negotiations.
      2. Elaborated on steps taken to identify Lorelei as best collaborator.
      3. Discussed board willingness to provide homestays per Lorelei’s contract (in lieu of hotels).
      4. Reported efforts to secure Classical MPR broadcast.
    2. Provided status of upcoming grant applications and decisions.
  3. Chuck: Treasurer’s report
    1. Joe: FY18 Midyear Budget Reforecast
      1. Reported budget and cashflow seem to indicate FY18 will close
        with a surplus.
    2. Approve: December and January Financials

  1. Brock/Jon/Joey: Engagement Committee Update
    1. Reported Christmas sales finished 107% to goal and had highest attendance and revenue in history.
      1. Described perceived reasons for success and how to replicate them for next season.
    2. Updated board on results of year-end giving campaign.
    3. Reported spring show is tracking 50% to goal, similar to this time last year.
    4. Gave overview of upcoming donor cultivation event with MLB Authority.
    5. Provided update on Cantus Idol and requested board contribution for a few live auction items.
  2. Pete: Governance Committee Update
    1. Provided overview of prospective members and anticipated number of vacancies.
    2. Reminded board of member responsibilities.
  3. Jeff: Strategic Planning Discussion
    1. Presented Strategic Plan assembled by Executive Committee and identified next steps for committee and board.
    2. Board expressed desire to further specify goals.
