2015-2016 Season
- Individual Giving thus far:
- As of 2/18/16: 550 gifts totaling $73,342 (64% to goal)
- This time last year: 459 gifts totaling $55,224 (55% to goal)
- Sent our first e-newsletter to 11,000+ households last Friday
- A bit of a challenge and learning curve as we switched from Constant Contact to PatronMail (saving $110/month by switching to PatronMail)
- Received great feedback from Board and friends of Cantus; 30% open rate (average for Arts Organizations: 27% according to industry standard)
- Had one individual call, curious about buying a table of 10 at Cantus Idol after reading about it in newsletter
- Will add a section on making a donation to the following newsletters
Cantus Idol
- Board and last year’s Sponsors will receive personalized letter and order form in the mail this week; Public sales will begin March 14!

- Ads with MPR News, Ordway and TCGMC appearing late Feb-March
- Sent email to local churches and local service organizations with info and concert dates to promote ticket sales
- Collaborating with St. Stephen’s in preparation for a free concert at HC Downtown Library on April 11 for individuals who have experiences homelessness or are homeless (goal: ~150 guests); looking into media coverage at the event to build awareness of access work and the second weekend of performances

- Increased single ticket goal by $5,000 based on sponsorship with Summit
- Overall
- 72.5% to total ticket sale goal for the season
