  • Individual Giving for FY18:
    • As of 2/23/18:
      • Total received: $93,127
      • Pledged: $4,075
      • 67% to goal
  • Individual Giving this time last year:
    • As of 2/23/17:
      • Total received: $76,515
      • Pledged: $5,190
      • 63% to goal
  • Next appeal letter will hit households in late March.
  • Possible donor event: I’ve secured the use of the Minnesota Ballpark Authority’s suite at Target Field for Friday, July 6 (Twins vs. Orioles) – and Joe and I are exploring the potential of Cantus singing the National Anthem that same day.
 
2017-2018 Season Tickets
  • For the Beauty of the Earth
    • Total as of 2/23/18: $16,192
      • 50% to goal
    • We’re tracking similarly to last year – and expect that sales will improve as marketing increasing during the next month.
    • We’re exploring a promotional and educational partnership with Minnesota Land Trust. Thanks to Craig and Mariana Shulstad for your help with this connection!
    • I’ll initiate another Goldstar deal this week to help bring in new audiences.
 
Cantus Idol
  • Monday, May 14 at 5:30pm at ARIA
  • The Idol Committee will meet tomorrow (February 27) to continue planning process, especially planning for auction items. Current auction item concepts include:
    • Boat cruise on Lake Minnetonka (confirmed)
    • Vikings experience package, including tickets and tour of new training facility (confirmed)
    • Cantus on tour package, including airfare to warm weather destination and tickets to Cantus show (in progress)
    • Champagne and dessert prepared by Beth Dooley, served by Cantus singers (in progress)
    • Private concert/event at Martin Patrick (in progress)
  • Tickets went on sale earlier this month for past Idol attendees. Tickets will go on sale next week to the general public. Ticket options remain the same as last year:
    • Sponsor level: $250
    • Dinner level: $125
    • Dessert level: $50
  • If you know anyone in your network might be compelled to make a gift of $5,000 or $2,500 before the event as a ‘seed donor’ to our fund-a-need, please talk to me, Joe, or Brock!
