Development
- Individual Giving for FY18:
- As of 9/22/17:
- Total received: $11,030
- Pledged: $3,350
- Many thanks for your generous support following August’s board meeting! Board gifts/pledges currently total $10,675.
- If you’re able, please consider making your gift to the Annual Fund early in the fiscal year.
- As of 9/22/17:
Cantus and Sweet Honey in the Rock
- As of 9/22/17: 1,394 tickets totaling $67,038
- 68% capacity
- We fell short of our goal – but working within the constraints of budget and staff time, we pushed hard and moved about 700 tickets since last month’s meeting.
- This concert benefited from mentions in the Pioneer Press, the Star Tribune (twice), and MinnPost (twice) – plus a radio interview on The Current with a member of Sweet Honey.
- Why didn’t we reach our goal? From my perspective, we know how to advertise to the Cantus audience, but we faced a challenge reaching Sweet Honey’s following here in Minneapolis. As an organization, we don’t have the tools of a presenter. While Cantus and Chanticleer enjoy very similar audiences, Cantus and Sweet Honey have a smaller audience in common.
