Development
- Individual Giving for FY17:
- Received as of 2/23/17: $81,492 (with pledges receivable: 66% to goal)
- At this time last year: $73,728 (64% to goal)
- Direct Mail fundraising letter#3 – mailed March 23, should hit homes beginning March 27
- This letter is usually sent in early May – hopefully the earlier mailing date will benefit our cash flow and help prevent as much stress before the end of July
- Many thanks to Jonathan Guyton for hosting a great donor event last Saturday!
- Party of 30 guests to introduce Joe and hear a short snippet from “America Will Be!”
- Guests enjoyed themselves; the wine was pouring and the food was delicious
- Jon invited a few close friends that Joe and Carly had the opportunity to meet and talk to; hopefully new Cantus fans!

- At this time last year: 182 tickets totaling $29,550
- Six exciting Live Auction packages this year (some returning items; some new – Brock will share)
- Working with Sam Green and our High School Residency participants to be involved at the event
- Following-up soon with phone calls and emails to past attendees and Cantus supporters

- America Will Be!
- As of 3/24/17: 868 tickets sold (63% to goal)
- At this time last year: 703 tickets sold (51% to goal)
- Cantus appearing on TPT’s “Almanac” tonight, Friday, March 24, at 7pm
- Ads in Schubert Club, MNOpera, and TCGMC program books, ClassicalMPR website and radio, and Lavender Magazine; posters displayed around Stillwater, Wayzata, and Edina
- Terry Blain will be reviewing the concert on Friday, March 31; Ryan Lohr from Classical MPR will be attending the concert on Saturday, April 8
- Provided a BOGO ticket offer to choral organizations across the Twin Cities for their staff and artists

- At this time last year: 617 tickets sold (37% to goal)
- Still awaiting word from Summit on whether or not they’re interested in continuing a promotional sponsorship
- Hopeful to receive positive media coverage considering the album anniversary, plus to build on the excitement from last year
- “Songs of Travel” Chamber Concert Series – now on sale! $20 Adults / $10 Students

- July 19, 7pm – American Swedish Institute; July 20, 7pm – Museum of Russian Art ($3 off for TMORA members)
