Artistic Council & Education Outreach Reports
Communications – Paul Scholtz
Artist Activities Week by Week
In conversations with Jeff Reed and Joe, it is clear there is an opportunity to open a more proactive line of communication between the artists and the board. Cantus is a unique and complex organization and it is important that we as board members have as full an understanding of the ins and outs as possible since we are the front line for community and donor engagement.
Thanks for reading and Chris and I look forward to conversation and additional questions!

We have had an exciting and busy last month! We have been working on putting together our spring show, When I Grow Up, which runs from March 15-24. Putting together the spring show is always a little different that our other shows because we have so much touring in between rehearsals at home. We started rehearsals while on our last 17 day tour where we would rehearse during our pre-concert time. The last 2 weeks have been spent back in Minneapolis rehearsing our 5 hours a day (our more standard rehearsal schedule). We will continue working on the music throughout our next tour and we will have a few days back at home before our first spring show performance! We also just had a very successful audition day. We heard 7 people during the standard audition day and will hear two more tenors next week (one from Ireland!). We have been grateful to have been on the road avoiding all the cold and snow!
